Vinitaly China 2008- a gala of Italy wines and delicacies, will be held in the ballroom of the prestigious Shanghai Four Seasons Hotel on November 21st, 2008. In the evening of 20th November a special open workshop and dinner will be held for selected VIPs whilst access to the all day workshop on 21st November is open to trade and press.
Since its debut in China 10 years ago, Vinitaly China has become one of the most prestigious annual events in Asia's wine industry calendar. It is an exchange platform for wines and Italian typical products for not just domestic Chinese buyers but also Asian buyers and media. The event gives visitors an idea of what specialities could be discovered on a journey to Italy.
This year, Vinitaly China 2008 has changed formula and adopted a more modern efficient formula where the wines truly are the protagonists. Many Italian wines of extremely high standards will be present, showcased by some of the most well known wine producers in the country. Professional visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in a series of wine-tasting /educational seminars which will be held on 21st November to get a deeper understanding of Italian regional wines.
