Introduction

Shanghai International Exhibition (Group) Co., Ltd. was the first trade show organizer to emerge in China after the Reform and Opening-Up and one of the earliest in the country to be UFI-certified. Founded in 1984 as Shanghai International Exhibition Co., Ltd., we began as a subsidiary of the Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai. Over the past four decades, we have witnessed China's exhibition industry grow from scratch to maturity.

Driven by the mission 'Serving National Strategies, Serving Business Needs', we align our projects with China's strategic initiatives, and have become a trusted organizer of multiple government-led events incl. CIIE, CISCE, YRDICIE, EDRR.CNE and AID. At the same time, we operate on fully commercial lines and have built a complete exhibition value chain through market-driven, branded, international, and professional practices. Our 40 internationally recognized events cover over 1.8 million gross square meters annually. Building on this momentum, we are now expanding overseas with proprietary outbound exhibitions and by assisting Chinese firms to exhibit in around 200 international fairs each year. We also co-develop 365 TRADEFAIR (www.365tradefair.com), a city-backed digital platform that helps turn Shanghai into a world-class hub for conventions and exhibitions.

By setting the industry pace and unlocking deep synergies, we aim to become China's premier and globally recognized exhibition group. We will keep creating lasting value for every customer and partner on the journey ahead.
