CCPIT Shanghai Sub-Council Deputy Secretary-General Gu Chunting Attends and Addresses 2021 UFI China Annual Congress
The 2021 UFI China Annual Congress was held in Haikou on December 28, 2021. The meeting focused on the theme of “Persistence, Dialogue with the Future.” Gu Chunting, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Sub-council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT Shanghai Sub-council), was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the congress and delivered an opening speech on the topic of "Serving the Overall Situation, Turning a New Page.” In his speech, Gu talked about the long-term connection between the CCPIT Shanghai Sub-council and the UFI (The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry), and introduced the remarkable achievements made by the CCPIT Shanghai Sub-council in building a complete exhibition industrial chain, serving national development strategies, helping Shanghai to build itself into an international capital of exhibition and proactively promoting the innovative development of the exhibition industry. He called for efforts to cope with the trend of anti-globalization, the global environment and a new development pattern of China in the post-COVID-19 era by implementing the general policy of “making progress while maintaining stability,” enhancing the regional cooperation and service capacity of China’s exhibition industry, and optimizing the value chain.
Finally, Gu Chunting said that as an important force in China's convention and exhibition industry, the CCPIT Shanghai Sub-council is willing to work with all partners to tide over the trying time, develop hand in hand and shoulder the mission and responsibilities entrusted to them by the times.
