The 2023 Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as “Auto Shanghai 2023”), which lasted for 10 days, was successfully concluded at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on April 27.

As an international Class A auto show covering automakers, vehicles, auto supply chain and auto technology companies, Auto Shanghai 2023, themed “Embracing the New Era of Automobile Industry”, is highly valued by the global automobile industry. The total exhibition area of the auto show surpasses 360,000 square meters, showcasing 1,413 vehicles in the automaker area. A total of 93 global debut cars (including 28 debut cars from international automakers) and 64 concept vehicles were released; 271 new energy vehicle models (including 186 new energy vehicle models from Chinese automakers) and 513 new energy vehicles were on display. Auto Shanghai 2023 has received more than 13,000 domestic and overseas journalists to cover this grand event and attracted 906,000 visitors from home and abroad.

On the two press days April 18 and 19, 151 press conferences were held by automakers and auto parts suppliers. Meanwhile, 20 forums, summits, seminars and technical meetings were held, focusing on several hot topics such as new energy, smart mobility, hydrogen, and intelligent vehicles, providing a platform of mutual promotion and integration for the development of global automobile industry.
