Shanghai International Exhibition (Group) Co., Ltd. held a group cadre meeting on September 28, 2023. Huang Daming, Director of the Organization and Human Resources Department of Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade, announced that Comrade Wang Lei will no longer serve as the president of Shanghai International Exhibition (Group) Co., Ltd. Instead, She will serve as the secretary general of the Secretariat of Shanghai International Chamber of Commerce (Shanghai World Trade Centers Association).

At the meeting, Comrade Gu Chunting, Vice President of Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Chairman of Shanghai International Exhibition (Group), affirmed and thanked Comrade Wang Lei for her outstanding contributions to the exhibition industry over the past 30 years. She has a firm political stance and excellent organizational and coordination capabilities. She is pioneering, innovative and hard-working. She has excellent professional abilities, is proficient in exhibitions, considers the overall situation and bravely makes contributions. She is committed to the cause of trade promotion. She is open-minded and honest. She has calmly responded to the pandemic over the past three years by leading the company to forge ahead, make new achievements, complete the group establishment, achieve stable and orderly development, and push the group’s business to a new level.
